Quick-start for new spa owners

  1. Fill to the marked waterline and turn on the spa.
  2. When water reaches ≥34 °C, add chemicals with jets running.
  3. Follow the steps below for balancing and sanitising.

Water care at a glance

Alkalinity (target 80–120 ppm):

  • To raise in 1000 L: +30 ppm → 50 g Alkalinity Up; +60 ppm → 100 g. Retest after ~15 min.

pH (target 7.2–7.8):

  • Use pH Decrease to lower or pH Increase to raise. Example in 1000 L: +0.1 → 5 g; +0.8 → 40 g. Retest after ~30 min.

Chlorine (target 3–5 ppm):

  • Start-up: 2 tsp Super Chlor.
  • After each use: 1 tsp per person.
  • Weekly: test and confirm target level. If you have ozone, read the strip within 10 minutes—ozone can affect later readings. Change water when the stabiliser pad reads 150–300 on the strip.

Regular maintenance:

  • Weekly test; fortnightly hose out filters and soak in Cartridge Cleaner (150 ml per filter bucket for 24 hrs); about every 3 months drain and refill (varies by size/usage).
